Description
When Sam Balfer comes back to Australia twelve years later, he asks me to walk the red carpet as his date. I’m an engineer–not exactly date material for Hollywood’s hottest star–and I’m skilled at tripping over air.
But it’s Sam! Of course I accept. It doesn’t mean anything, so I shouldn’t get too excited. But a girl can dream…Then a furtive kiss ends up splashed all over the tabloids, and my childhood fantasy is thrown onto the world stage.
But Sam has to return to LA and his glamorous life there. We live in two separate worlds–he’s famous, I’m terrified of media attention. He’s literally halfway around the globe from me. This tabloid fantasy was never meant to be. Then I find out that Sam feels the same way about me…

As with all of Joanne Dannon’s books the only problem is that you don’t want them to end. Joanne is such a wonderful author that you always feel like you know the characters and you can’t help falling in love with them and their storyline. I could choose which of her books I love the most, but this one is definitely at the top of the list. All of Joanne’s books are wonderful and I recommend them highly!! Robin, Goodreads

Want You by Joanne Dannon is the ultimate storyline of a dream come true for me. Anyone who knows me knows I have a few celebrity crushes and winning a date with them I would be totally fangirling! Needless to say, this book had me grinning ear to ear! One of my favorites she has written.
This book Joanne dedicates to all the geeky girls out there who thought the cute guy would never notice them.
Joanne also would like to dedicate this to all of her friends who have a crush on Sam Heughan. Now, I myself had never heard of him so I had to google him.
It is not everyday your high school crush turns into this big-time famous actor that is holding a contest for you to be his date. Not every day your best friend puts your name in a few or more times for a chance! A once in a million-time chance to win a date with a hot famous celeb!!
Joanne takes you behind the scenes to show you what it is like to live that lifestyle. Plus, how it effects your relationships with others as well. Heidi Lynn’s Bookreviews

Want You was a fun, high school best friends meet up twelve years later and there are sparks and complications that follow. The drama, angst, and paparazzi add to the story because Sam in now a famous actor in Hollywood and Paige still lives in their hometown in Australia.
I really liked Paige. She is smart, a tomboy, and klutzy at times. It was cute how her best friend, Rachel set her up to be Sam’s date in a contest and the story that follows was interesting. I really liked the ending and the epilogue. Lori R, Goodreads
