Description

Project Manager Felix Randall has made some bad choices in life, particularly with his last fiancée who left him at the altar for his brother. Now he’s determined to settle down and find a Miss Right who will help him build the same kind of loving, stable relationship his parents have. But with his reputation, no one takes him seriously.

Barista, chef, and aspiring author, Charlotte Glass has known Felix since high school. Happy and community minded, Charlotte loves working with people. Her church and her faith helped her overcome a troubled past, but the idea of rejection still haunts her.

The sudden attention from Felix is exciting, but why would a guy like him be interested in her? The man slept his way through half of Melbourne. After a lifetime of being overprotected by her brothers, the last thing Charlotte wants is another man telling her what to do, even if he means well. Can Felix change his take-charge ways to win the love of the woman who might just be his Miss Write?

  1. Joanne Dannon

Joanne Dannon once again shows her skill at managing gritty subjects while still balancing romance and a fast pace. Felix has made some poor choices, but he acknowledges them and is trying to turn his life around. One thing he doesn’t lack is confidence, and when he realises Charlotte – a long term acquaintance through school – could be his perfect lady, he is determined to prove that they are right for each other. Charlotte has some doubts, but she can’t deny the attraction and how good he is to her. This is a really enjoyable read that shows that when it comes to people, you shouldn’t ‘judge a book by its cover’ – or in Felix’s case, by the gossip. LBennett, Goodreads

  2. Joanne Dannon

I absolutely adored this story! Felix was a little unlikeable in Falling for the Best Man but he sure captured my heart in Falling for Miss Write. The relationship between Felix and Charlotte was interesting and they had great chemistry. Sue, Goodreads

  3. Joanne Dannon

I know Joanne did not intend to write Felix’s story….but Felix turned out to be a very popular character, and suddenly Joanne had readers (including this one) begging for his story. Oops!

Thus, a story of redemption. Felix has plenty of past sins, many of which we weren’t even aware, and finding his perfect match takes some doing. Charlotte is a great heroine, I adored her – she’s strong, self-sufficient, faithful, loving, and anxious to stand on her own two feet after half a lifetime of being bossed by her three brothers. In fact, Charlotte just may be my favorite of all Joanne’s characters. Angela, Goodreads
