Having commitment issues myself, I really related to Bea, and Ash’s ongoing tendency to forgive Bea had me in tears. It was also refreshing to have the female lead be the reformed party girl instead of the opposite which I have read so many times. I found it empowering as Bea moved on from her past filled with bad decisions without fixating on her regrets, and Ash’s support is just what she needed to continue on her path of recovery.
What I love most about Joanne’s books are the various countries she takes us to which always involve exotic foods. I wish I had the budget to travel to these wonderful places, but at least I always feel like I am on vacation with Joanne’s characters. Israel sounds absolutely beautiful, and I would jump at the chance to move there! Dana, Goodreads
