Romance Writers of New Zealand conference in Rotorua

Every year I attend the Australian Romance Writers conference but this year I decided to head over to New Zealand. The conference size is smaller but is well run by an enthusiastic committee and the sessions were excellent.

I loved hanging out with author friends (and meeting new ones!) and sharing knowledge about the industry and chatting about ways on connecting with our readers.

The highlights for me were Kristen Lamb’s full day workshop on author branding in a digital age (brilliant!) and Christie Craig’s (CC Hunter) keynote talks (inspiring!) 🙂

I also met a fab bunch of writers and we stayed together in an Air BNB house close to the conference. We had a fab time drinking too much wine, eating too much chocolate and using the word “moist” too many times – LOL 🙂
